Daniel Kummer ▸ Loops

This collection grew out of a simple daily practice: sit down, make something, and keep moving. With looping as the only real constraint, each piece became a quick motion sketch, a place to follow an idea without overthinking, revising, or worrying too much about the outcome. Over time, the practice became both a creative outlet and a testing ground for new techniques, tools, scripts, and ways of working in After Effects. More than 300 experiments later, what began as an exercise in making something every day became a record of exploration and evolution: one idea leading to another, and the act of making becoming as important as what was made.
